Richwell Phils. Inc. (RPI), is the leading distributor, manufacturer, and licensor of branded children’s products in the Philippines. We bring well-known children and teen’s brands closer to the Filipino shopper through our heritage and expertise.

RPI holds the dominant position across different segments: infant needs, fashion, and footwear. Our licensing capabilities and experience are extensive; our business partnerships stable and profitable.
As with most established local companies today in the Philippines, RPI started in 1979 with a modest capital, a dream, and plenty of passion. Its owners anticipated the need to market in a potentially huge niche in the children’s fashion and basic needs segment. It started with the distribution of Mattel toys in 1982. RPI soon started to distribute many international brands, and in 1986 became the exclusive distributor of Pigeon Baby products. Despite political and economic instability during Martial Law, the company was resilient and maintained the marketability of its products.
In 1989, the Barbie trademark was licensed out to produce the Barbie Boutique Character Shop in SM Makati. In the same year, we started the manufacture of Barbie dolls in a one-hectare plant in Libis, Quezon City.
Given its expertise in the children’s market, Richwell Phils. Inc. has diversified successfully into children’s shoes. With its ability to offer good quality shoes at affordable prices, RPI is currently a major player in the infant and children’s branded shoes market via the brands Chicco and Hot Wheels. In 2005, RPI expanded into apparel licensing with the Barbie brand and has established several retail stores. With recent developments, there is now a need to represent this business model. IGM now is being supported by its affiliates.
